He attended Lake Superior College where he graduated at the top of his class and obtained his Automotive Technology Degree. Derek is an electronics genius who loves to know how everything works. He excels at diagnosing even the most obscure electrical issues. Derek is one of our go-to technicians for all things electrical. Derek is truly dedicated to his craft and is an outstanding technician who loves what he does. In his spare time he likes to fish, shoot guns, camp, spend time with his family and tinker with car projects.
He attended Riverland Community College where he graduated and obtained his Automotive Technology Degree. Nick has become an invaluable asset to our team. He has demonstrated unparalleled dedication to his profession. He’s always willing to tackle new jobs and continues to learn and grow every day. In his spare time he likes to camp, fish, spend time with his family and of course, attend every UMD Bulldog hockey game.
Darin is one of three founders of Allstar Service Center, Inc. He has a strong background in business management, sales and customer service. He started this business to help people get honest repairs at fair prices. He’s built this business from a fledgling start-up to a revered, state of the art, automotive repair powerhouse. He’s never been afraid to tackle those jobs which other shops turn away. He’s been at the forefront of innovation in this industry. He continues to drive this business forward by implementing new technology, training and education of his staff. It’s not just a job; it’s a way of life.
Gavin is “One of Two” smiling faces you’ll see at the front counter when you walk in. He’s been a staple, an icon, a pillar, if you will, for TEAM ALLSTAR since 2005!!! He’s spearheaded taking us to the next level!!! Gavin absolutely loves his job and our customers love him!!! Gavin craves the fast paced tempo of his profession and being able to not only help our patrons but educate them as well. In his spare time he’s a dedicated father to his three children. He likes to go camping, fishing and spending time with his family.
He attended Lake Superior College for Automotive. Andy is truly one of those guys that can take anything apart and put it back together. He has an innate ability to figure things out and usually make them better. In his spare time he likes to collect old Arcade Games and bring them back to life. He also likes to help his brother-in-law fix up his race car.
Matt is compulsive about his work and the area he works in. I’ve never seen a TECH like him before. He’s extremely methodical and clean!!! I wish the rest of my staff could take note of his work area. He’s very diligent with the utmost attention to the details. He wants it fixed right the first time. In his spare time, which I don’t think he has any, he spends countless hours in the woods, on a lake, in the swamp, etc., anywhere he can hunt and fish. He’s also the Local Ducks Unlimited Chapter President. He’s truly a sportsman and heart!!!
Nate is one of those guys that just want to help. He’s the first one to offer a helping hand. He’s a workhorse and strong like bull!!! Nate is currently in our apprentice program to become a full service technician. In his spare time he enjoys spending every waking moment with his son. Doesn’t matter what they’re doing, just so long as it’s together.

He has a strong background in management and customer service. In his spare time he enjoys participating in social events such as Darts and Dragon Boats racing.
